This new exciting show, due to be premiered in 2010, goes to the very beginnings of Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll and the young teenager named Elvis Presley who led the revolution which changed modern music forever. Read More.
The show features Aussie Music Legend Lonnie Lee who, in May 1956 started his own incredible career by singing Elvis' first #1 song, 'Heartbreak Hotel' on a radio Amateur Hour. This was the 1st time an Elvis song had been sang live on Australian radio.
A few months later in February 1957, he won an MGM Studio contest to find 'Australia's Elvis Presley' and a few weeks later won another contest to win 'Sydney's Elvis'. He started his own Rockabilly Trio and the rest is history.
